Sawyer Fredericksbegan playing around the area, busking on Saratoga streets, playing the Caffe Lena Open Mic. Then he rocketed to fame with a win on the reality show The Voice. At just 17 years old, you might be quick to dismiss his rapid rise, but if you did, you would certainly miss out.
Sawyer writes songs that feel instantly recognizable, and yet fresh and exciting. We loved his major label debut, and have been impressed with his DIY spirit, and the recent departure from said label. On March 30th, he releases his follow up - "Hide Your Ghost." On the way, he's done a Pledge Music campaign to raise the needed funds to record, produce, master and promote the album.
Today, he releases the video and first single, the plaintive "Hide Your Ghost."
