Schenectady Light Opera Company's "Once"

Just thinking about the feat of producing something like "Once" for the stage seems daunting to me. Not only do you need actors who are believable as their character, but most of them have to be able to sing and play their character's instrument live on stage.

Director James Alexander and actors Emily Rose (Girl) and Nick Foster (Guy) from the Schenectady Light Opera Company's production of "Once" dropped by to play, sing and talk. And yes, we hear them do "Falling Slowly," and we melt all over again.

The production runs at the Schenectady Light Opera Company Theatre on State Street from September 16-25. More information at their website.
