Albany’s Sabrina Trueheart is an artist that certainly lives up to her name. Navigating the waters of pop, folk and Americana with a wonderfully sublime voice, the singer-songwriter has been making all the right moves in her adopted state of New York.

Trained in jazz guitar and vocals, Trueheart utilizes her extensive musical background to create ethereal vocal harmonies complemented by enduring instrumentation. She made waves in the local music scene last year with her first release, Holding Onto Something Good, a four-song EP. The title track on her freshman release features prominently the warm acoustic guitar picking that she has come to be known for.

Trueheart will be performing at Argyle Brewing Company’s Depot in Cambridge on March 25.
