Meta Dia talked with me about his Senegalese infused reggae. We talked about his love of NYC and how he did everything he could to be everywhere there was music when he first moved there.
Music Haven hosted a concert with his band a few years back, and they're bringing Meta & the Cornerstones back for the Reggae Sunset night - a concert and a movie in the heart of Central Park on Friday, August 30. After Meta and his band play, there will be a screening of Bob Marley: One Love.
