Super 400 is Joe Daley on drums, Kenny Hohman on guitar and vocals, and Lori Friday on bass. The band lineup was solidified in 1996 after Lori played a jam session with Joe & Kenny, who were looking for a bass player for their band. When she was asked to join, what they got was much more. Lori Friday quickly became an integral part of the group's sound and image. Her dynamic, melodic-style bass playing provides a strong backbone to the band's music, while also adding her own unique flair to their sound. Despite facing various challenges and health battles over the years, Lori and Super 400 have remained dedicated to their music and mission.
When she is not performing or writing music with Super 400, Lori can be found at the Troy Music Academy teaching musicians of all ages and skill sets how to get the most out of the electric bass and piano. Friday, along with her bandmate and partner Kenny Hohman opened the music school in 2011, which is located on 3rd Street in downtown Troy.
