Kevin McKrell is one of the area's most famous exports. People around the world know The McKrells, Donnybrook Fair, and just Kevin on a barstool with his guitar. However you get to see Kevin play, it's always entertaining. His self-deprecating humor is certainly charming. And the stories he tells, and those songs... Yea, we are very lucky folk to have him as a neighbor.
His latest album is Kevin solo. It's called "In Quarantine." The record captures the essence of Kevin, at onece touching and serious and a bit funny with a wry grin. We visit from my home to his, and here is the result.
