Wednesday, October 23, WEXT is participating in the fifth annual Public Radio Music Day 2024. We are partnering with the the Non-ComMusic Alliance and the Alliance of Rural Public Media to celebrate this year. This year, stations showcase how public radio music bridges divides across the country and plays a unique role in supporting access to music in every community.
This year’s theme – Bringing People Together: From Coast to Coast – not only builds on the momentum of spreading awareness of the impact on American audiences nationwide; we will highlight how music brings our community together through music discovery, music education, and support for local arts economies.
We’ve selected several Local 518 artists to pick 3 songs/artists that are some of their influences.
Starting in the 5am hour, each hour hear another set from a different Local 518 artist.
