Everybody knows I'm a huge Neil Young fan. Seems like forever. I was in middle school in Syracuse when I discovered his music. I used to scan radio stations by turning the knob that moved the needle up and down. Remember those? I was always in search for music that was different and unique. I loved the hip hop and the British punk and the new wave that was exploding. But it was during one of those late night expeditions with my radio when I discovered Neil. Wow! I was hooked. His voice is at times soft and sincere. Other times, brash and vitriolic. He is certainly one-of-a-kind. And his music has always been sort of therapeutic for me; from my adolescence to now.
