When we began our conversation, Steve Forbert was in line at the post office. He was hoping to be able to pick up a Bob Marley CD he had ordered. After the initial disappointment when it wasn't the CD, we started talking.
We start with his amazing first two albums. We discuss how he wound up in Cyndi Lauper's video for "Girls Just Want to Have Fun." And we wind up talking about making a new record. We can look forward to that in 2022.
