Ahead of his show at the Harderman Orchards in Red Hook on Sunday, July 17th, KC talks with Doctor Lo about performing at the Rhinecliff Hotel in the 90's with the NYC jam-band God Street Wine, taking a break from touring to get his PhD in American History, and relocating to New Orleans, a city steeped in “300 years of heartbreak”….
They also discuss the title track of his latest album, Claiborne Avenue, which captures the eerie emptiness of one of New Orleans’ famous thoroughfares at the height of lockdown, and how The Big Easy is bouncing back.
