More than 30 years ago, Walking in Memphis, from singer-songwriter Marc Cohn's debut album, became an international phenomenon and secured Cohn a Grammy Award for Best New Artist.

In his conversation with KC, we learn Cohn's early career was championed by David Crosby, whom we recently lost. The two remained close over the years, and Crosby was the creative force behind Cohn's current tour with Shawn Colvin and Sarah Jarosz.

Cohn reflects on their friendship, a recent performance at a high-profile wedding, and the legacy of that hit song.

See Marc Cohn, Shawn Colvin and Sarah Jarosz at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall on Wednesday, February 22nd and at the Bardavon in Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, March 1st.
