Rolling Stone once referred to Sarah Jarosz as "Gillian Welch's long lost daughter." A mandolin and banjo prodigy who graduated from the New England Conservancy of Music with honors, Sarah Jarosz, continues to make strides in the contemporary bluegrass world. Her most recent album "Undercurrent" won her two Grammy Awards in 2017-for Best Folk Album of the Year and for Best American Roots Performance for "House of Mercy." She also won the award for 2017 Folk Album of the Year from Folk Alliance International.  Sarah Jarosz plays at Mass MoCa's FreshGrass Festival Friday, Septemeber 15th.
