When I learned that Dakota Bates was a musician, and I heard her sing, I knew I wanted to have her in so you could hear, too.
I would have my friend Bob Bates by the studios to play songs and tell stories. One of the charming things about Bob was how humble he was, despite being a decorated veteran of music. Another charming thing was how each time he would be on he always wanted to thank his friends and family members, including his daughter Dakota.
