I got to sit down with the husband and wife Local 518 musicians, Ria Curley and Chuck Lamb at Saratoga Arts.
We had a lot to talk about. Both have been nominated for a 2024 Eddies Award for their individual achievements in the local scene. Both tour the world. Both have each their own projects, and there’s a lot of collaboration, too.
Plus, we learn that Dave Brubeck (yea, the Dave Brubeck) played a role in how they met. Who knew Dave Brubeck was a matchmaker AND world class jazz pianist.
