Molly Durnin visits home every winter. She loves to be here in winter for the change of pace. It's been a while since we could have her by. This was such a treat.

The Diver Library does a lot of really cool and creative things. One of those is part of the annual summer reading program that becomes the spring board for a summer project of making an album of songs - written by library patrons of all ages, but particularly those of school age.

Laura Johnson has been working under the name Girl Love these past few years. She's a queer, indie-folk musician with some very powerful songs, including a new protest song she performs in this episode.

Juliana of Canella shared the story behind the band's latest song. The true story of how one of her music teachers was grooming her and how she managed to break free. Juliana's is a story of resilience and triumph over a desperate situation.

Michael Eck is traveling to Memphis to participate in the International Blues Challenge. He won the solo/duo challenge put on by the Capital Region Blues Network at Caffe Lena. He's off to Memphis the week of Jan 7 through 13.
