Today would have been Greg Haymes' 71st birthday. I knew Greg, and loved how supportive he was of our efforts at WEXT Radio. He was instrumental in how WEXT began. His vote for the first song - even though he didn't know it was a vote - was integral to our very first note of music played on WEXT in 2007.
Sadly, we lost Greg to cancer a few years ago.
Michael Eck and Greg hosted our Exit Dome radio broadcasts, and did so much more together as great friends. Michael was willing to share a fun story with us in celebration of Greg's birthday.
