Thanksgiving Pie (6a, 9a, 12n)
An hour long special in three segments. Segment one is Arlo Guthrie’s masterpiece, “Alice’s Restaurant,” hosted by Dave Michaels and Chris Wienk. Segment two has Adirondack folk singer Christopher Shaw playing songs to get us in the mood for a holiday in the mountains. In segment three, Michael Eck imagining a Thanksgiving holiday that never occurred, down in NYC at the Almanac House.

The afternoon and evening are filled with four special episodes from the archive. These shows each have a warm home feeling for time with the family.

Black Friday Live @ EXT Marathon (5a-9p)
A bit of a twist this year to our annual tradition of playing songs that were performed in our studios. While we have some from before the pandemic, most of our sessions since March have been recorded in the artists’ homes. These special, often fully acoustic versions are unique recordings that have been a part of the #AtHome sessions we air each Friday at 12n.
