Drew Wardle is a singer-songwriter that is influenced equally by Leonard Cohen as well as British surrealists Robyn Hitchcock and Syd Barrett. His songs are observational with a poetic bent. The subjects of his songs range from relationships, political and social commentary and even sometimes tinged with a little humor.
Local 518 artists are now appearing on WMHT-TV's AHA! A House for Arts (Wednesdays at 7:30pm). Hear these sessions on the radio (and here online), and see them on WMHT-TV.
Drew played a few cool tunes for us in this session, "Going Out of Phase With You," "Hide and Seek," and "Runaway."
