Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving Pie (6a, 9a, 12n)
An hour-long special featuring three segments. Segment one is Arlo Guthrie’s masterpiece, “Alice’s Restaurant,” hosted by Dave Michaels and Chris Wienk. Segment two has Adirondack folk singer Christopher Shaw playing songs to get us in the mood for a holiday in the mountains. In segment three, Michael Eck imagining a Thanksgiving holiday that never occurred, down in NYC at the Almanac House.
American Routes (1-9p)
The afternoon and evening are filled with four special episodes from the archive chosen by host Nick Spitzer. These shows each have a warm home feeling for time with the family.

Black Friday Live @ EXT Marathon (5a-9p)
Since March of 2020, we have not had more than a couple session take place in our studios due to the coronavirus pandemic, but that hasn’t dampened our desire to help you discover more new music, and to learn more about some of the artists we love. Artists recorded the sessions in their own homes. These special, often acoustic, versions are unique recordings, which have been a part of the #AtHome sessions we air each Friday at 12n.
