Rudolph Valentino in "The Sheik"
Rudolph Valentino plays Paris educated Sheik Ahmed who desperately desires feisty British socialite Diana. The only solution (for him) is to abduct her and carry her off to his luxurious desert tent-palace. The free-spirited Diana recoils from his passionate embraces and yearns to be released. Only after being kidnapped by desert bandits (which was her own fault) does Diana realize how much she has grown to love Ahmed. Will he come to her rescue? Will he get there in time?
