Introduction to Composting Saturday, May 4 at 11amConfused about the best way to deal with the organic waste your household generates? Have you tried composting in the past and been frustrated by the result? The goal of this workshop is to demystify the process and help folks set up their own backyard composting system with minimum expense and (hopefully) maximum success. This workshop will be led by Jennifer Armstrong.Jennifer Armstrong has been gardening since childhood. Making compost for the garden has always been a strong motivation, and now keeping food waste out of the landfill is an additional motivation. She is the Chair of Sustainable Saratoga’s Compost Committee, and has led numerous workshops in the area to help people get started with composting - whether they want the end product for their garden or not.Introduction to Composting is co-sponsored by Pitney Meadows Community Farm and Sustainable Saratoga.Register here: https://forms.gle/LUxikuWZ984yan63A
