Margo Macero
For blues and country rock-leaning vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Margo Macero, her most solid ground is always music. “No matter where I am, music is my rock, music is my companion, and music is home.”
Hailing from New York’s Adirondack Region, she's not the first in her family to find similar solace. Her late uncle is Jazz saxophone and producing legend Teo Macero who is credited with hundreds of records for legends including Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and numerous others. And though a listener may pick up a wrinkle of jazz in a Margo vocal line, the younger Macero more often delivers music with a bite. A ferocious blend of southern-rock feel and modern country heart anchored by classic rock authenticity. Simply put, when Margo Macero performs, buckle up; her foot is planted solidly on the gas pedal.
For the past decade, Macero has surrounded herself with a revolving lineup of top musicians, earning her way onto festival stages and even national television.
In 2024, Macero inked a two-record recording and management deal with Bridge Road Entertainment. She is currently working on her debut full-length.
