Kickoff Summer with the Battenkill Runs Through It River Festival

Leap into summer Saturday, May 25th at the Battenkill Runs through It River Festival! This free, family event starts at noon with canoe and kayak rides, fly fishing demonstrations, a scavenger hunt, the popular “picky bug table, and more! Enjoy delicious food from area food trucks and live music from jazz infused guitar and bass duo Jester Fretless and the 5-piece jam band Tumblestop!

The Battenkill Runs through It River Festival works to highlight the importance of watershed protection, riparian buffers, stream connectivity and the need for open spaces and public river access for all. It takes place at Battenkill Riverside Park in Greenwich (formerly known as the Greenwich Town Beach), just north of the village on Route 29. Presented by the Battenkill Conservancy. Sponsored in part by WEXT Radio.
