Woodstock, New York native Jim Weider is a master of classic telecaster guiter and renowned for his unique sound and technique. He proved his might in the mid-80s replacing Robbie Robertson in The Band. Weider performed with the Levon Helm Band until Helm's passing in 2012. With the formation of The Weight Band in 2013, Weider and a group of masterful roots musicians present a dynamic set of classic Americana that draws upon roadhouse rock, funky swamp pop, blues, country, soul and folk music.
