The Adirondack Independence Music Festival returns to the Charles R. Wood Festival Commons in Lake George Village this Friday, September 4th, through Sunday, September 6th, for three days of live music, great vibes, and great people. Now in its 11th year, ADK Fest features two side-by-side stages with music running continuously throughout the weekend.
Headlining this year’s festival are Upstate New York jam icons moe., returning for their sixth year as festival headliners. moe. will perform two full sets on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, Dogs In A Pile return to Lake George for two sets and their first festival-headlining performance. The lineup also features Deer Tick, The Floozies, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Gubbulidis, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Eggy, Pink Talking Fish, TAUK, Assembly of Dust, Grateful Dub, BALTHVS, Jimkata, Hayley Jane Band, Funky Dawgz Brass Band, and many more, including local favorites Capital Zen.
The festival is more than just music, with food and craft vendors throughout the grounds and a great view of the Lake George fireworks Saturday evening. Music begins at 1 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday and Sunday, continuing until 11 p.m. each night. The festival is open to all ages, and children 12 and under are admitted free with general admission.
