The September in the City Art Fair features live music by:

September 7: ZAN STRUMFELD
Everyone knows life has two constants, for singer/songwriter Zan Strumfeld—it’s love and heartache. And while she loves to love, her losses expose a creativity that only resurfaces in the depths of sorrow. What transpires? Lullabies for the lonely, anthems for the revivalists, ballads for the hopeful. With a soulful and seductive vulnerability, she carefully reveals snippets of her deepest secrets that leave you craving more.

September 14: ALEX SMITH
Alex Smith grew up in Long Lake, NY, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. His music is informed heavily by the community and legendary folk music of the Adirondacks, steeped in tradition but always looking ahead to the future. Smith began touring while in college at St. Lawrence University, and there released his first two albums, Sawdust, and Live with Dylan Rice. Now, he tours and records extensively both solo and with his band The Mountain Sound, and signed with Wepecket Island Records for his third record, Hamilton County.

September 21: RYAN LEDDICK
Having shared the stage with many people in numerous settings Ryan Leddick has taken his own road, from theatre to live sound, and infused many genres - echoing tasteful reggae beats with soulful melodic passages. Starting out as a solo artist and continuing today he continues to make audiences want more, showcasing his playful and humble spirit. Ryan has shared the stage with a few great artists. Most notably Damien Rice, Patti Larkin, and some great names from Broadway.

September 28: RAGLIACCI
Ragliacci is a vaudevillesque revival pied and piping as your local folk clown. Oft improvising with guitar, harmonica, kazoo, and a parade of percussion, Ragliacci is sure to entertain with old folk songs, early jazz, a cappella classical, contemporary favorites and original material from off the beaten path and around the world. This clown seeks to be a mirror to the realities of the human experience. There is no fourth wall. Audience participation is always encouraged. Ragliacci also teaches clown workshops and is a wedding officiant. Come see Will Kempe's Players' original practices production of Twelfth Night, or What You Will beginning September 9th, 2pm at Siena College. Rags is Feste.
