In this region, we are particularly fond of The Band. With their connections to Woodstock, and the time Dylan was there creating The Basement Tapes with them, we absolutely adore The Band.
Join WEXT as we celebrate the music of The Band, and the artists who made up the band. We'll be playing sets from The Band and its members all week from October 21 through October 28. Plus, we are compiling a list of songs from The Band to occupy the whole day of October 28th.
This is all to coincide with the remastering re-release of "The Last Waltz," which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. On October 27th (starting at 6pm), we will play the ENTIRE concert recording from start to finish.
