Roots scholar and multi-instrumentalist Michael Eckis a respected songwriter, a nationally-exhibited painter, and an award-winning cultural critic and freelance writer. He is also a member of Ramblin Jug Stompers, Lost Radio Rounders, Tin Can Alley, Berkshire Ramblers, Good Things, Spancilhilland Don McGrory & The Snake Charmers.
Michael recently performed on WMHT-TV's AHA! A House for Arts (Wednesdays at 7:30pm). Hear him perform, "Everything Is Dirt Now," "One of The Old Songs," and "Paint Me Blue."
