We fell under Maria Brosgol's hypnotic trance a handful of years ago when she first started making music under the moniker Belle-Skinner. She seduces you with a mix of mid-century pop with fingerstyle contemporary folk, and then makes you cry.
This past May, Belle-Skinner released her second original album called, Violets, backed by a list of who's who of Local 518 musicians. Now five months later, she returns with an EP called, Early Covers; re-imagining songs by Joanna Newsom, Sufjan Stevens, The Good, The Bad & The Queen, and Regina Spektor.
