Marty Wendell dropped by to talk about his show with The Bluebillies at Caffe Lena. In the conversation, Marty shared that he's working on some new songs. He plays us one of the songs that will likely be on that new record.
Marty was sporting a t-shirt with one of the pictures that line his studio walls - this was one of him and Willie Nelson. We talk about Marty meeting some of his heroes, and how June Carter Cash insisted he stay for dinner. Marty says his experience with his heroes is that they were always so gracious. It must have inspired Marty as he is always so nice and gracious to us as well.
