On this episode, we have some selections of the Music for the Holidays WMHT-TV production. 388 choir students from 9 different Capital Region Schools were invited to the studios to record some favorites for the holidays. The results were so much fun that there will be 3 joyous TV programs, for a complete list of broadcast dates and times visit wmht.org/holidays. We feature highlights from those programs for the 518 Sessions leading up to the holiday (Thursdays at 930p).
This first episode features the Chatham Middle School 7th & 8th Grade Chorus, the Schenectady HS Serenaders and the Tamarac Elementary Select Choir. Music for the Holidays, on WEXT’s 518 Sessions.
On this episode, we hear: Joy to the World and Christmas Star, performed by the Tamarac Elementary Select Choir. Before that was the Schenectady HS Serenaders performing O Nata Lux and Christmas in About 3 Minutes. And the segment began with December Canon performed by the Chatham Middle School 7th & 8th grade choruses.
