Alex Chang is True Diversity

Alex Chang is a composer and an electric acoustic harpist. I know you were thinking guitarist, but this dynamic artist is a true one of a kind. She experiments with the diversity and resonances of the electric harp. Her musical foundations come from free jazz, indie rock, Celtic and new music, and her classical training. She is part of the Rock City Falls Trio, a cross-genre ensemble that often works across genres through collaborative improvisation. WATER. A collaborative improv, which premiered at the 2024 Improv Spaces Music Festival, presented three movements performed by the improvisational trio featuring original themes composed by Alex Chang.
