Kevin Barry Moore was born in Ireland in 1955. Luka Bloom got his start in the United States in 1987 when Kevin Barry Moore started performing using a stage name. He took the name Luka from the Suzanne Vega song and Bloom came from the main character in James Joyce’s novel Ulysses.
Judy Collins is the iconic American singer-songwriter with a career that spans over 60 years. Before the pandemic, she was still performing 120 shows per year. She says when audiences come to see her perform, they are thinking about their youth and hopefulness. Her voice is like a time machine.
