The Sugar Hold’s latest EP QUICKIE is anything but… it’s a rockin’ good time that you want to replay over and over, again!
I sat down with the The Sugar Hold to talk about their new EP, the origin story of The Sugar hold and it’s members (made up of band members Jesse Winchester, Ryan McCalla, Matt Malone, Mikey Baish and Dan Clark), and what’s next for this awesome 518 band.
From the moment they walked in their energy was fantastic. Down to earth and just ready have a great time. They had their street clothes on but informed me that they needed to change into their “costumes”. Mikey said to me, with a laugh, “we play better once we’ve changed into our outfits”. Their latest EP, QUICKIE, is out today.
During our interview we talked about how they just want to play music and have fun. They have absolutely achieved that with this EP and in our interview. It was just felt like a bunch of musicians and music lovers hanging out, and talking music. These guys are just as much fun as they sound!
