A Musical Check-In at the Last Resort Motor Inn
Sara Milonovich and Greg Anderson are no strangers to the Local 518 music scene, and their band, Daisycutter, brings their chemistry into sharp focus on Last Resort Motor Inn.
The album is a collection of songs that showcase the band's rootsy, Americana-leaning sound, with Sara's unmistakable voice and fiddle and Greg's musicianship creating plenty of space for the songs to breathe. There’s a lived-in quality to the record that feels right at home on WEXT.
Sara and Greg stopped by WEXT to talk about Daisycutter, the making of Last Resort Motor Inn, and what went into bringing these songs to life. We found out about the "chicken coop." They also played a couple of the songs acoustically, offering a stripped-down look at the music before the full band takes it to the stage.
