Upstate NY–based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Kendra McKinley is back with a bold new EP, "Music For Smoking Weed with Your Bra Off" — a title that perfectly sums up its vibe: free, sensual, and unapologetically honest. Recorded largely in her Catskill home studio, the project finds McKinley in full creative bloom, blending neo-soul grooves, alt-pop shimmer, and smoky jazz tones into something entirely her own.
She calls it “a metaphor for disarmament — softness, relaxation, openness” — and that energy radiates through every track. Think lush harmonies, bass-driven beats, and the kind of songwriting that makes you exhale.
To celebrate release week, McKinley stopped by for an intimate live session that captures her at her most magnetic — earthy, playful, and totally in her element. Light one up, kick back, and press play.
