Come join us every Tuesday during July & August for our weekly BBQ & Blues Jam hosted by Sly Fox and George Boone. We will have some delicious BBQ available for purchase on the patio. Want to join the jam? Email gary@putnamplace.com for more info.
From his suit and shiny black shoes to his powerful vocals filled with raw emotion, this veteran musician George Boone will immerse you in a deep river of the blues. He has won the respect and accolades of the great players in the blues scene and has shared the stage with legendary blues greats such as Albert King, Screaming Jay Hawkins and Johnny Copeland, to name a few.
As Matt Smith wrote in Metroland magazine “I think George Boone is one of the most amazing guys I’ve seen. He’s the real thing…” A night with George Boone is an experience. Rocking out, dancing, crying the blues, George Boone is a lesson in what the blues are all about. George Boone lives the blues. George Boone is the blues.
Sly Fox is a New York–based guitarist, songwriter, and frontman best known as the founder of the blues-rock group Sly Fox and the Hustlers. Drawing from blues, soul, funk, and rock influences, Fox developed his musical roots alongside longtime friend and collaborator Sean Rowe, with whom he began playing guitar and writing songs as a teenager. After Rowe launched his solo career, Fox stepped into the spotlight as a singer-songwriter, channeling personal experiences into original material that became the foundation of Sly Fox and the Hustlers. Known for energetic live performances and a sound the band describes as “heavy voodoo blues over soulful funky grooves,” Fox has earned praise from fellow musicians, including John Popper, who called the group “one of the best bands I’ve seen in a long time.”

After their sold-out performance in 2025, PJ Ferguson & The Tennessee Strange return from Nashville, TN to The Strand Theater in Hudson Falls, NY on Sept. 11, 2026.
As part of their set-to-be-announced SPACEMAN Tour, the eight-piece band will bring a high-energy rock n’ roll show to Washington County, where PJ spent his formative years growing up and playing music.
“Last year’s show at The Strand was one the highlights of my life but who says the sequel can’t be better than the original?” says PJ.
Those in attendance can expect to hear favorites “Don’t Tell Me What to Play,” “A Little More Time,” and “Leap of Faith,” among new never performed songs and select covers from some of their biggest influences.
Recently, The Tennessee Strange signed a deal with Middle Finger Management, founded by Lincoln Parish (founder/ex-guitarist of Cage the Elephant.) After releasing their debut album last year, “Don’t Ya Know It’s All a Show,” produced by Rocco Guarino (Velvet Revolver), the band is gearing up to release new music all summer along with their music video for SPACEMAN.
The show begins at 8 p.m. GA tickets are $27.50 and front row seats are $37.50. Tickets are available at https://events.com/r/en_US/tickets/pj-ferguson--the-tennessee-strange-kingsbury-september-1047722
