A member of Gen Z who grew up on classic and hard rock, Latham’s Moriah Formica developed her passion for songwriting at 11 years of age. The pint-sized powerhouse skyrocketed to national attention at 16, appearing on NBC’s “The Voice" in season 13. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she formed Plush, a band composed of talented young women, whose accomplishments and talent eclipse their age. The band hopes to inspire young women everywhere to follow their dreams, regardless of whatever challenges may lie in the way.

Plush released their hit single “Hate” in February 2021, a song Moriah previously released solo. This version new of “Hate” was reworked with producer Johnny K and had immediate success. It soared up music ranking charts and remained there for over 40 weeks. The success of “Hate” brought countless opportunities including touring with Evanescence, Slash, and Alice In Chains. The band has no intentions on slowing down and has hinted at new music to come later in 2023.
