SIRSY's brand new 5-song EP "Like a Drum" (released 4/9), was feverishly recorded over the course of three days at MagicWig Productions in Albany, capturing the energy and raw emotion of a duo's long and winding road. Last year after a routine check-up, Mel found out her breast cancer had returned; putting everything on hold and forcing them to cancel a string of west coast shows. Today, Mel is cancer-free! And sharing her brave story with friends and fans all around the country!
We know SIRSY will be touring and making music for years to come! "I might just go out there with my walker" says Mel. At that point, she may have to sit behind the drum kit. But don't bet on it.
