Listen: Local 518 C.K. Flach and Sydney Worthley Play New Music and Talk Tulip Fest

With time running down until the 71st annual Albany Tulip Festival in Washington Park Mother's Day weekend, we visited with two of the eight performers on the Local 518 Lakehouse stage.

Ravena native Curtis K. Flach of  C.K. & The Rising Tide sings and plays from the heart.  Their brand of Americana features poetic, nostalgic lyrics supported by music that's rockin' and emotionally evocative.  And Tulip Fest returnee Sydney Worthley is a shining young singer-songwriter who melds alt-rock, folk, and pop into a sound all her own.  Both are poised to take the Lakehouse stage in Albany's Washington Park, delivering powerful performances with a fresh batch of songs!

The 71st annual Albany Tulip Festival is presented in part by Citizen's Bank, the City of Albany, Mayor Kathy Sheehan and Exit 97.7 & 106.1 WEXT.

Here is a compete rundown of performers on the Local 518 Lakehouse stage May 11 and 12.
