Kurt Sodergren of the band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy got on the phone with me and we talked all about their brand of swing. They were at the forefront of the swing revitalization more than 30 years ago, and they're still rockin' through the country bringing more fans to the sound of the swing era.
Kurt and I talked all about that, about drums, and even Peter Criss of the rock band KISS. Plus, we learn that like many drummers I've interviewed before, Kurt kinda lied about being able to play drums to join a band. And it worked.
