Laurie MacAllister has been one-third of Red Molly for better than two decades. We are excited that she's finally heading out on her own. Each of the women of Red Molly had been noted singer-songwriters before meeting at a folk festival and starting to sing songs together.
Once Red Molly took off, they ran with it. But the pandemic gave them each a little breathing room. And Laurie, who had not felt her songs were ready for prime time was convinced by a friend to rethink that. And now, she's throwing herself into the solo career more than 20 years in the making.
