The Cooper’s Cave Composers Consortium returns to The Strand Theatre in Hudson Falls on Friday, October 10, for their Fall 2025 concert — an evening celebrating original compositions from across the Capital Region and beyond. Founded by Glens Falls musicians Anthime Miller and Catherine Reid, the Consortium is dedicated to nurturing collaboration and showcasing new music from local composers.
This season’s concert features new and returning artists, including Laura Roth, Eddie Jowels, J.P. Hubbs, David Sokol, and Steve Johnson. The program will blend premieres and audience favorites, offering a vibrant snapshot of the region’s creative pulse.
Ahead of the show, Chris Wienk of WEXT Radio sat down with composer and performer Lucas Garrett to talk about his latest work and what inspires his involvement with the Consortium.
This fall’s Cooper’s Cave Composer’s Consortium will take place on Friday, October 10th from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door – the suggested donation is $20, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
