Chuck Lamb Celebrates Saratoga Jazz on After Hours On Phila Street
Saratoga Springs pianist and composer Chuck Lamb has a new collection of music that feels right at home in one of the city’s most legendary listening rooms. After Hours On Phila Street is a new EP of original acoustic jazz-fusion compositions inspired by personal relationships, joyful moments, and Chuck Lamb’s longtime connection to Caffè Lena.
The album features an impressive cast of collaborators, including Joel Rosenblatt, Scott Petito, Mike Tucker, Joe Locke, Mike DeMicco, Jorge Gomez, his wife Ria Curley, and Joe Anderies. The title is a nod to Caffè Lena’s Phila Street home and Chuck's longtime role as host of the venue’s monthly Jazz at Caffè Lena series.
On Tuesday, August 11, Chuck Lamb celebrates the release with a special concert at Caffè Lena, featuring Mike Tucker, Mike DeMicco, Jorge Gomez, Matt Vacanti, Ria Curley and Evan DuChene. The show starts at 7 p.m. and also features an opening set from Ria Curley.
