Caity Gallagher is a folk singer-songwriter from the Local 518 whose music feels like a conversation and lingers like a memory. Deeply influenced by the storytelling traditions of Carole King, Ben Folds, Jackson Browne, and The Cranberries, Caity brings a heartfelt honesty to every lyric she writes. Since stepping into the spotlight, she’s released two EPs—Happens All the Time and Something Worth Remembering—along with a live album with her band, Caity & the Gallaghers.
What sets Caity apart is more than just her sound—it’s her presence. Whether she’s on stage or in the studio, there’s a warmth to her that invites you in, like you’re being let in on something personal. Her songs are steeped in narrative, grounded in feeling, and delivered with a kind of joy that reminds you why storytelling matters in the first place.
Caity is opening the "In The Round" series show with Eric Bibb at Universal Preservation Hall on Friday, April 18th.
