Local 518 favorites Dave Maswick & Joel Brown have released "Cover Soul", their new Beatles cover album—a warm, rootsy reimagining of Fab Four classics through their signature acoustic style and close harmonies. I spoke with the duo about the making of the record, their lifelong affection for the Beatles, and how they approached honoring those timeless songs while adding their own twist.
Maswick & Brown bring that spirit to the stage at Caffè Lena for the Beatle Caffe, a special night featuring Super 400, Kevin McKrell, and Question of the Century, along with Maswick & Brown.
