Gil Gutierrez may be the one who got the amazing Doc Severinsen to come out of retirement in his 80s. He led Doc's San Miguel 5 for many years until Doc Severinsen retired (again). Now, Gil and his Trio are making their way on tour showing off his amazing skill.
